Made from a Persian cat. Can be spun from any medium - long haired breed.
Persian Cat - Shiraz
Shiraz a Persian cat who sadly died aged 15 years, he had been groomed daily for a long time and his fur had been collected. It had felted quite a lot but I managed to card it well enough to spin. It really was a pleasure to spin, very soft but also very strong. I was pleased with the outcome so I have decided to spin cat fur, however it needs to be long like the Persian.
